The most popular Website Platforms use no more than 50MB and Internet Shops with even a thousand products should use no more than 100MB.

4. MYSQL Database

Most CMS Solutions and Shopping Baskets need a Database to function. Our Hosting package includes a database as part its core package with very few limitations.

5. 15GB Bandwidth per month

Bandwidth is for the amount of traffic going to and from your site and includes uploading and downloading content from your website and sending and receiving Emails.

The average website required 10GB of bandwidth per month for visitors and for uploading new content and images. We have provided an ample 15GB and will monitor your usage for you.

6. 10 x E-mail Accounts

10 Email accounts is usually enough for the average size company, this does not limit you to the number of email addresses you can have per email account and you can set the default account to research the emails from all unallocated addresses for your Domain Name.

6.1 POP Accounts

Post Office Protocol is the most common Type of Email Account which you collect your emails from regularly throughout the day. Most users set their email software to remove the emails from the server once downloaded to their machine. 90MB per account is more than sufficient for daily use.

If you do not need 10 separate accounts however, you can have as few as one account with 900MB allocated to it.

6.2 IMAP

Internet Message Access Protocol is a different type of account whereby your Email Software is configured to view all your mails directly off the server and the emails remain until you manually delete them; this allows you to check your mails from any computer and have all your emails accessible to you at any one time.

This type of account for many accounts is best provided by a dedicated email Server, but our configuration is ideal for a small team of consultancy who are not large enough to warrant the investment of a mail server.

The space allocated is only suitable for 3 of this account type, if you need more we will advise you by how much you need to increase the service.

6.3 Browser Based Mail Client

We have also installed onto the server a browser based email client to allow you access to your Email from any internet enabled computer that has an Internet Browser.

6.4 Anti SPAM

It is crucial to filter out as much SPAM as possible BEFORE DOWNLOAD thus avoiding wastage of the bandwidth you have paid for.

6.4.1 Anti SPAM Filter

We have installed as part of the package SPAM Assassin to reduce SPAM to a minimum on the server.

Our default setting is quite week to ensure you receive all your mail, however you can increase the strength from the control panel should you need to.

6.4.2 Email Authentication

We have also installed an application that authenticates all incoming emails to ensure they are from a person and not a group mailing list.

Senders simply have to verify they sent the original emails, before the emails is dispatched to yourself.

7. Anti Virus Protection

We use Clam AV Anti Virus Software to regularly check all files and emails on your Hosting and will alert you if anything is found.

You can of course configure the software to scan your Server Space more often if you wish.

8. Auto Back-up Utility

It is very important to have access to back-ups for any eventuality. Our Hosting provider back-up on the last Sunday of every month the entire server and we have configured your account to run a back-up every Sunday.

You can of course configure your account to make more regular back-ups and even store them on another server.

9. Remote Network Drive

We have also provided an application for you so use some of your server space as a network drive, so you can access your word document etc from anywhere in the word.

We have an entire suite of the most popular Content Management Systems, Shopping Sites, Forums and other programs, so that you can install them in seconds without having to upload them first.
